Sophia Business Angels (SBA) is a group of individuals who invest personal funds in early-stage startup companies with innovative concepts and commercial promise.  We are, or have been, entrepreneurs or corporate executives with global expertise , now dedicated to supporting compelling business ideas and coaching CEOs and teams

Founded in Sophia Antipolis on the French Riviera in, 2002 we now have over 40 members based around the world (Europe, US, ,GCC  and Asia). We are part of European Business Angels Network (EBAN), France Angels and work closely with other angel groups and partners. This global network is our greatest strength as we seek opportunities to create shared value.

The Startup Factory in Cannes is one of the most popular networking events where entrepreneurs and students can pitch their early business ideas to investors and other members of the startup community.

The Venture Academy is a bi-annual event co-organized with SKEMA that provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, receive personalized coaching, and compete for prizes for the top 3 startups.

SBA Invest meetings are regularly scheduled pitching sessions, available both online via Zoom and in person, Select entrepreneurs can discuss their offerings or exchange ideas over dinner.
